Is SMS a valid proof?

Thanks Gurunarayana Rao. I am not having any other proof than this SMS and my account history. Btw, I had called him many times to his cell phone as well as landline number, but never had recorded the talk. Is there a way to get the talks retrieved from the servie provider? I am using Airtel mobile and landline.

I would like to Know, the following things

1.did ur friend specified the amount payable to u in the said sms,

2. what is the mode of loan payment  by u to ur friend, is it through cheque or through cash, if you had ur bank account statment u can issue a legal notice calling upon him to pay the loan amount.
