Is there a cause of action based upon the Specific Relief Act for fraud to recover economic loss? I know there is one in Contract Act to void a contract but voiding a contract does not provide recovery of losses. I am trying to figure out what is the law to recover losses for fraud.

First of all ascertain the reasons for the losses you suffered, if it is due to the fraudulent acts of the other person then you can lodge a criminal complaint against him/her and also pursue the matter through civil law by filing a money recovery suit based on the evidences in your possession.
