Is there any order written on the docket considered as order

Respected Gurus , 

i have question , as per my knowledge , if we file any petition , there should be oner order related to that petition , is there any provision in the history of Indian law like docket order can be considered as order copy ?????!!!!!!!!!!!!! whether the order can be in IA or main OP?????
