Is498a a continuing offence?

esteemed experts

I wish to know what is the most recent  stand of supreme court on 498a being a continuing offence or otherwise. In 'manishratan and ors vs state of MP' honourable SC has clearly held that 498a is not a continuing offence.is this stand still maintained by SC? kindly give any  later judgement if there is any change in SC 's stand

I guess it also depends 498a charges for what :

is it for "stridhan" or for mental torture or physical abuse...

If it involves jewlery/ other property too, thn it shud be a continuous offcne....Continuous offence is one where in till we return the property to the person, it would be a continuous torture to the persons' property you have kept with u (maybe sold) but till u give d property back, the offence is such.
