Hi,
I have recently applied for my passport but there is a major issue i am facing. My mothers name on my birth certificate is her nickname(house name) and not her official name. There are no supporting documents for her nick name although all documents are available in her official name like pan card, ration card etc. However my leaving certificate, 10th, 12th as well as graduation certificates carry her nickname. I want her official name on my passport. Birth Certificate is required as a proof of date of birth for persons born after 26-Jan-1989, thus is mandatory for me being a 1990 year born.
Could you please advice on it and help me with a solution at the earliest because producing my passport is required very urgently.
