Joint WILL - Hindu

Can husband and wife write a Joint WILL in favour of their Children, since properties are in joint names.
Please provide format for this.

Yes. They can write the Will joint for their joint properties.  Consult a senior Document Writer or an advocate who drafts documents.

The answer is yes.

 

There is no specific format for  Will. But it should contain

 

1. Name/s of Beneficiaries

2. Full details of assets and

3. Confirmation that the Will is made with balanced mind

 

It's better you contact a good Lawyer to write your Will. Although it's not compulsory to register the Will, it is better to register the Will which will save much hard work for the beneficiary/ies.

Format may be taken from a local lawyer / tutor or coaching institute.
