Judge not allowing questions beyond the defence taken by the

Respected Members,

Firstly would like to convey my thanks for always answering to my queries.

A case u/s 138 of NI Act, we stand for accused, during the cross-examination of complainant we were not allowed to ask questions beyond our defence mentioned during the framing of notice u/s 261 crpc. and the Judge abruptly closed the cross examination.

What should we do now?

Thanks Again

In criminal cases, an appeal asks a higher court to look at the record of the trial proceedings to determine if a legal error occurred that may have affected the outcome of the trial or the sentence imposed by the judge.
