Judgement delay

Is the judge empowered to delay the judgement.?

is there any proedure to speed up the judgement. all the enquiry, arguementis completed but judge is always posting dates. some times with out alling numbers in later day they put another date. is allowed? how long can a judge delay the judgement?

If judgment is reserved or posted on a partular date  sooner than later the  Judge would deliver Judgment. No intnentional delay. If   you appreciate this answer please click the  thank you button on  this forum.

You will have to wait for pronouncement of judgment.

If the judgment is reserved then judge should ideally pronounce it with stipulated time.

The apex court has decided it and respective HC should have framed rules and kept on website.

Check with your counsel.

If unduly delayed, your lawyer can mention the matter before the Court.
