Judgement passed on incorrect statements

In a recent judgement passed by the Hon'ble High Court, various incorrect oral submissions made by the respondent have been recorded on the basis of which the judgement  has gone in his favour. Later on while seeking a clarification from the respondent in respect of those incorrect statements, he has totally denied responsibility for those statements.

How can a judgement stand on the basis of erroneous statements made by the respondent or on his behalf duly recorded in the judgement which are now being denied by the respondent and such judgement is based on those very erroneous statements?

Please advise what steps I can take in the matter so that I may get proper relief.

Real justice is rendered at lower courts or to certain extent from HC, however in SC not sure, people gets justice. In you case you can go to HC before DB or SLP.
