Just a thought - gender biased law - 498a/dv

Does anyone feel the same?

Because of gender biased laws like 498a/dv, husband and their family members are scarred to continue the relationship after even small fights that could have been easily solved by just talking.  This was not the case few years back and now even for small fights and misunderstaning, we have to think and act like if we compromise, we have to go to jail!  So better come out of the relationship!!

This really puts the girl's life (and also boys!) in miserable state as there wont be any chance for compromise/continuing the relationship because of the false case threat.  Girls/wives are not advised properly by their parents / lawyers because they think they have these cases readily available to them as their saviour!!

Thanks.

Your statement and views are absolutely right , the main reason to increase dispute and insecurity between husband and wifes relation is that they have a lot of communication gap as both are busy in their official work , emailing , whatsup etc they have no time for eachother , love , respect and dedication had gone away only negativity remains in their minds , they don't want to listen anyone and the result is flow of 498a & DV cases in which both husband and wife suffers .

you are the second lady in the forum who has a very correct view on the situation created by 498a like laws in the society, because of fear of such laws like 498, dv, innocent and law abiding citizens are getting fearful of entering into a relationship, this law has been misused to such an extent that people are fearing of getting married.  lawyers are only there to grab their share of fees. and dumb women succumb to such picture created by lawyers.
