On 3-11-12, it was broadcast/ published that Justice Hasnain Masoodi of J&K High Court has given a 23-page verdict concerning "unrestrictes/unqualified power of divorce for muslim man".
01- please provide me a copy of the said judgement or else provide a working link wherefrom I can download the same easily.
02- A muslim man is under trial in a lower court since 21-10-2012 under sec of CrPC of J&K, where the petitioner (as wife) concealed the occurence of divorce on her and what followed thereafter. Shall the said verdict of 3-11-2012 be applicable to this case. The Petitioner in this case failed to adduce any evidence for her purported cause for maintenance, but deposed facts about divorce ( which she had concealed ) in her cross-exam by the defendant.
