I am a resident of faridabad, My Father purchased a Plot of commercial land from a auction held in 1992 in faridabad, The land lies near new janta colony, The land registry was done on the spot and full payment was made to the rehabilitation department who conducted this auction. In total their were about 150 plots which were all sold during the auction but about 130 bids which were less than a certain amount were cancelled. Fortunately my father's bid was accepted, Since 1992 we have not received any notification about the land from anyone. The land is being used a dumping ground which has heaps of wastes, I have no idea what to do, On someone's advice i filed a RTI application about the current status in Municipal corporation of faridabad and got a reply that tenders have been given for development but that thing is also 2 years old and still i do not see anything happening. Can anyone please advice on what legally can be done and what options do i have.
I am also thinking if we can ask for rent as government has been using our land for dumping waste. Please help.
