In March 2004, myself and 3 other parties bought land from a group of Muslim farmers in Mayapur, West Bengal. We bought a total of 105 decimal. This 105 decimal was divided amongst ourselves.
Now, last week, a sister of 2 of the brothers who sold the land, is making a claim for land that belonged to them using a legal heirs certificate as proof she is entitled to the land. At the time of the sale in 2004, the brothers were alive.
Does the sister have any legal claim to the land?
