Land survey

Hi All,

We have a land dispute with my father's brother and we need to do a land survey through the court to avoid any disputes in the future. Could you please help us how we can do that?

A real property survey report (RPS Report) is an important legal document which signifies the location of all improvements relative to a property’s boundaries.
A real property survey report generally contains an briefing of the physical features of a property and a written report detailing the surveyor’s opinions and concerns.

A property survey report typically consists of the following essential elements:-

(a) A legal descripttion of the property [including the dimensions and locations of the property boundaries]

(b) The street address (address needs to be accurate).

(c) The location of all buildings related to the property’s boundaries

(d) The location of adjacent properties

(e) The location and descripttion of all improvements that needs to be done.

(f) The type and location of any encumbrances such as easements or covenants.

Court does not just operation a land survey, it happens in circumstances where the land (or Property) if found to be in merged and part of a new plot or land.

However, you can refer to the case --- Commissioner Of Survey v/s G. Padmavathi And Others on 18 June, 1999.
Down below is the link for the said matter have a look for more input ---
