Landlord disconnected water supply

Dear sir/Madam

I am staying in lease house. My lease term is completed & i am not willing to stay in this house anymore. I have informed 2 years before my lease getting expired that i will not continue my stay after the lease period is over. But even after lease period is over landlord is neither returning amount nor renewing lease agreement. After multiple reminders I have stopped paying water charges untill my amount is given or lease is renewed. Now they have disconnected water supply. Please let me know if they have any rights legally to stop water supply? Is this not violation of human rights / tenent rights ? Please advise me what action I can take in this situation. Do I have right to Lodge police complaint to restore water connection?

Hello,

Disconnection of water supply by the landlord is an offence you can approach local police station and file complaint. Please disclose full facts about the case.
