Language of will not known to person sigining

A persons Will is in English a language which the signatory does not understand then is the will valid as the contents are not known to the person. I need some citations to support the contention that will should be in the language the signatory understands or should be under some prescribed procedure in such cases.

Usually it is stated that the matter has been read and explained and understood before signing.

OR WILL was properly executed after it was read to or by the testator and the testator appeared to understand it, and that the testator knew and approved the contents.

The WILL in english was read over to testator.

In certain circumstances the courts may consider that the testator’s inability to read or speak English gives rise to suspicious circumstances!
