Respected Sir/Madam,
This is a general query for my understanding. Most android mobile phones for quite some time have a call recording feature at least in India.
These days many phones make an audio announcement to both or all parties in call when you record a call on your phone. W.r.t. this action is there any clear info available on what laws or Government mandates exists in India regarding this call recording announcement.
Most phones have it, I believe some don’t and for some others some workaround is there to record a call without this announcement.
I am just trying to understand if such a call recording announcement in smartphones is mandatory by law in India? If so is there any official info /documentation available online?
