Hai everyone,
I have bought a flats in kolathur , chennai. It has 6 blocks each block containing 6 flats. So total of 36 Flats. Im the first to occupy the flats and its on November 2014, not even a year. Now the problem is sewage water is getting filled up in every block almost every two days and we are cleaning it by tanker lorries by spending Rs.1250/- per load. Nearly 60 percent of the flats have been occupied only before 3 months and yet they were facing this sewage problem and contributing towards cleaning. The provision for sewage water is so small and it is only 10 feet and it is gettig filled up frequently whcih causes problems to nearby residents. There is no drainage system in the area. Also builder has two more flats to be sold out of 36. This is major problem and we are spending handfull of money over and above the EMI to clean the sewage water.
When asked to builder he is not ready to take responsibility , instead he is asking us to meet the local councillor and corporation chairman to request the drainage system. We have also met the concillor and he is not ready to make it fast . After spending lakhs we are having tough times daily with the overflowing sewage water. What could be legal action or what actions can we take this to sort this issue.
Note there were also a lot of pending works to be completed by builder, were
-Building not named
-Blocks not named , owners names not painted in flats.
-no lights provided in gates
-not formed the commitee
-sewage lines at the backside of the flats were closed with tiled not cemented
-small parking sold to almost more than 4 owners per block.
Door numbers not given.
Dear members kindly guide me what could be the action to be taken against the builder . Thanks in advance.
