I am jaiwanth.I recently got selected for a government job not yet joined.Before joining, the department has asked fill few details in which I came across "have you ever been prosecuted?'
In regard to this, there was a false domestic violence case filed by sister in law against my elder brother and entire family in Dec, 2015.However,the case has been settled in Lok Adalat,2016. Does this past horror incident still affect my government job ?
Please reply to this sir I am going through lot of confusion and anxiety issues. It will be a great help as I worked hard for long to get selected for this job

If you are anxious to know whether filing of any case means prosecuted or not. It is not. The case was never decided on merits and if it was settled then it would be settled as withdrawn. When case is withdrawn then your anxiety is without any reason. All the best for your Job.
