Legal Notice

A legal notice was issued to my client that he threatned and defammed which is groundless one year 10 month back claiming damage U/S 500 of IPC.  A reply was made that the person will be liable under his own risk and cost. Till date no reply is received by my client my reply.

1. Is it till valid under the Limitatioon Act.

2. My client right to proceed against the person who instructed to issue the legal notice. If any limitation kindly specify.

3. Irreparable loss has occured to my client.

Suggest legal remedy and legal aid.

The act of the sender of the notice seems that he is not interested to file any case.  If in the notice any defamatory words then your client can initiate legal proceedings .
