Legal remedy for "equal pay for equal work"

What are the legal remedies if any organisation denies to implement the judgement of SC on "equal pay for equal work"?

In my opinion, you can file a writ petition before the concerned high court (under article 226 of the Indian Constitution) or the SC (under article 32.) If you are able to establish that you are performing equal work of equal quality, and that all the other relevant factors are fulfilled, a direction by the court to pay you equal wages could be made.

The decision passed by the Apex Court is a socialist one. In my view it is not bound on the private organizations. But yes the employer cannot escape from the obligation. If you want to claim for equal pay for equal work, you have only the option to initiate legal proceeding against the employer.

Also pl note that you need to prove that your nature of work is of equal quality.
