Legality of will that partitions ancestral property

Can a current name holder of an ancestral property, not purchased or built by him, Will it to be partitioned among the rightful inheritors, without their consent? Would such a Will be legally valid? Do current residents of such a property, who are also one among the rightful inheritors, have any special objection rights against such a partitioning?

are you asking for will or partition?  the query is not clear.

The question is whether a partition enforced in a Will by a deceased name holder of an ancestral property without the consent of legal heirs, enforceable in law?
