Lien/technical resignation

I am working in DIPP as a group A officer. I had joined in DIPP on 16/07/2016. The probation time as mentioned in the joining letter was 2 years. Although two years have already passed, still I have not got the confirmation of my probation completion. Recently I have been selected as an assistant professor in UPHESC, therefore, I want to resign from my current post. In resignation letter whether, I must ask for the lien or just for the technical resignation?

Before submission of your application for new assignment have you sought permission of your employer and allowed ? If so, submit technical resignation.

Thank you sir for your reply.

Yes I had taken NOC from DIPP for appearing in the interview of UPHESC.

Sir,

Right now I will apply for technical resignation. Is it posssible that before my relieving in Dec 2018 if I got the confirmation of the probation, that time I can apply for the Lien?

If you have decided to join the new organisation, you may submit technical resignation and get relieved.
