Dear Rajan Salvi,
The requisites for live in relationship is testing the water before taking a actual plunge.
Or otherwise if previously the plunge was disastrous then waiting for storm to subside.
On a more serious note this phenomenon is close to the issue of individuality and norms in the society - meaning thereby one does not need the approval of the society to live and cohabit if it is legal and just. This is the latest style statement started from joint family to nuclear family and now individuality being the foremost important.
Last but not least in live in we can find plural i's but not we.
