Hi,
Since lotteries and promotional prizes for the upselling of products are legal in Maharashtra but the Acts permitting it mentions about the mandatory license, and if the so called lottery or promotional prizes are a part of promotional marketing of a product then is the license still required? if license is mandatory I would like to know where can one apply for it in Mumbai and how much does it cost, are there any requirement to be eligible for the license?
