If the mother cannot be kept in the family let her be provided accommodation in some old home of the district/city, the cost of her living and maintenance to be shared by the children even if the mother has pension provision that can be taking in consideration while deciding the share of money to be contributed by all the children of the old lady.

The case under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007 can be filed against the children if they ignore their responsibility of their mother but if as suggested above there can be arrangement made, no case will perused against any children of the old lady.
