Maintenance bill

Hi, My society is raising maintenance bill jointly on my name and bulider name. Builder has not paid maintenance before i took possession. After possession I have paid all the bills but they have now started raising bill jointly.

My question is that is it legally allowed since I am the owner of house and member of society so how can builder name come on my bill.

The bill must be in the name of the owner.  Any grievance shall be made to the Registrar of Cooperative Housing Societies/RERA.

There is no such law governing the subject matter i.e., raising bill in the name of builder and/ or allottee.

Even otherwise, it is not a legal dispute for consideration and obligation of experts on this platform.
