Maintence deffered in Mutual Consent Divorse Case

Hi,

I am filing Mutual Divorse petition. My wife's family want to put a line saying "There is no money given for maintenance till now. But in future, after divorse, if reqquired she can claim for the same".

Is there any legal issue or hidden agnenda in it ?  I tried to settle for money in advacne but they are not ready.

Will appreciate any help in this regard.
