Marriage annulment

Hi,

        During Marriage annulment case (Section 12 1 c)proceeding which the wife had filed,What happens if Counselling session fails.Will the Case goes as per merit from the begginning or both parties can arrive at settlement during counselling when either of them not interested in the unconsummated shortlived marriage.Kindly clarify????.Also there many posts mentioned Annulment petition can be converted to MCD.Can you let me know the procedure...
