Married daughter's right

My wife has two brothers. Her father has two types of property

1. Land & house inherited from his father.
2. Self Purchased House.

My father-in-law wants to make a WILL  in which he does not want to include my wife's name.  My wife's father and her brother has mentally tortured my wife much b4 marriage and they are doing so even now.

My question is "Even if my father-in-law does not include my wife's name in the property, is it possible to claim share in his property?" If yes, how?

With regard to your query u first answer whether you are Hindu r Christian. If you follow hindu religion as per the amended Hindu succession act  your wife is entitled to get equal share along with her father and her brother as an coparcener. With regard to the property purchased by ur father-in-law, if the same was purchased by on his own funds he can dispose the same as per his wish. If ur christian then ur father-in-law has every right to dispose the property as per his wish.
