Hello, I work in private sector software MNC in India and would like to know if new maternity law for private sector employees(6 or 8 months paid leave instead of 3 months paid leave) has already been officially implemented by government or yet to be?I heard in last december that women working in private sector will get this facility as Govt is about to bring such law as per Menoka Gandhi's proposal but please confirm if the law has already been implemented or when is it supposed to be implemented in India or what's the progress actually? Kindly confirm. Thanks.
