Dear Experts,

One of my friend whose wife who has non consumated marriage.He was cheated by his inlaws/wife.The girl only stayed with him four 4 days (Marriage 2 yrs old).Now the girl party is insisting on MCD and asking money.He plans to go for MCD and pay the amount.But he is planning that after 2nd motion of MCD,Can he publish in news paper about the divorce so that no other people shouldnot  fall in her trap again.

Will it create any problem to him legally? Please advice...

There is a possibility that he may invite defamation case.

MCD Judgement is a public document ,then how she can file defamation ? The matter which will be published will be as the the judgement.

MCD petitions will always be drafted without incriminating each other and so in MCD petition, the boy could not have said that the marriage has not been consumated and he has been cheated by his inlaws / wife.  If he simply publishes the divorce decree, then there will be no legal complications.  But in the paper advertisement, if he wants to put allegations of 'non-consumation of marriage' 'cheating by the in-laws/wife', then there is a possibility of inviting defamation.

He wants to publish only " Divorce decree hasbeen obtained ,and there is no relation between the two parties from the date ....". No blame will be put on girl.

He just wants to declare  in the news paper that the marriage hasbeen dissolved between the two parties.

there r number of case in india relating to family matter, baring few which involve great question they r not publised.
