Could you please enlighten me if there is any policy in india which defines the period for which
medical records of patients are kept by Nursing Homes / Hospitals.
1. What is period of retention for out-patient records
2. What is the period of retention of In-patient records
3. Any specific guidelines for record keeping of cases which has legal angle also like MTP etc.
4. Any other knowlege which Respected experts would like to impart
