Minor property

Sir, I,m taking care of my relative kids , as their parents are dead. I would like to sell the minor property that is registered on them. Once I get the court permission , can I sell the property and use the money for minors. or will I need to show the accounts of money used on minor kids? there are 10 acres of agricultural land on minor kids. will court give permission to sell all the 10 acres?

You shall be required to be appointed as guardian of the minors and also to seek permission from guardian court for selling the minor's property for showing bonefide requirement for minors. Depending on requirement the court will accordingly grant permissions with some directions and guidance in this regard.

You have posted that you are relative and taking care of minor.

Are you appointed guardian?

The decision in matter before court is pleasure of court of law.

The court looks into surrounding facts of the matter, applicable enactments, plaint, welfare of child………….
