by brother owned Volkswagen vento car , because of some financial issues,he pledged the car,before one year for 1 lakhs, and not to use, bt xyz is using the car and my bro noticed and asked questions about missusing the car, now xyz is scolding and doing rowdyism to take car back and demanding for 3.5 lakhs,

A car can only be hypothecated through a deed duly witnessed and intimated on such a hypothecation clause to RTO. If there is any mishap to the car or to a third party, the owner as in RTO records is accountable.
First, take some videos and photographs as evidence of abuse of hypothecated vehicle, Immediately issue a legal notice thorough advocate and then lodge a criminal complaint.
Invariably claim monthly rent as charged by the vehicle suppliers as car is used for personal purpose without specific written permission.
