Mother can give assignment land to her son?

Dear Sir
Please clarify my doubts about assignment lnads alloted to SC people.
1. My mother was alloted 2.5 acres of assignment land. I have been doing agriculture in that land. She has 5 children. All others except me in are doing some jobs and are married. I am unmarried and witout any job. she can write a will giving that land to me? or it goes to all the 5 children? She wants to give it tome only as I dont have any other source of income. Please advice in this regard. Thenk you for your valuable time.

It is granted land, so everybody has got share in the land. She cannot transfer it to only one person.

As it is an assignment land, it cannot be transferred to any one. After your mother, you may submit application to Collector/RDO through Tahsildar, some land may be allotted to you as per norms in force at the time of allotment.

Your mother can not make will of that assignment land, as it is granted land therefore after her demise you and your siblings will get equal share in it .
