Dear S..,

1.First of all you have to get a heirship certificate from DM office or revenue deptt. then get NOC from other heirs if any one exist. 

2. Apply an  application for mutation with your affidavit regarding heir ship, Hrs certificate and NOC from other members y to revenue deptt.

3. There will be a notice regarding mutation of property for a period of 30 or 35 days in local news paper. If succeeded in all then property will be mutated i your favour.
