My messages on karva chauth--contribute plz.

"Karva Chauth"--Just an outcome of a Male dominant society, in which if a wife dies, a husband can manage the family easier after her, as compared to a wife whose husband dies. In fact, generally life of a widow becomes just a hell.

So instead of promoting "Karva Chauth", I promote the concept of a society in which there is no Male/ Female Dominance. And there would be no need of fasting for long lives of husbands only. Instead we may keep a special Day for wishing long lives of all, whom we love or care for i. e. our brothers/ sisters/ friends/ mother/ father/ pets etc.

A new kind of "Karva Chauth."
