I Filled a RCR on September 12,2012 on Thane (Kalyan Court) . for that my lawyer gave me a xerox copy of RCR document.

But , Still It does not reached my wifes place Kerala.

I asked my Lawyer about the status,he told me it takes time,  if we need to move we need to give tips for the clerks who moves the file on the court.

But, I already paid 40k for filling RCR but still not reached.

Could some one help me out or if i go to Court directly will i get the Status of it... Please help me out...

Why i did not called for any hearing from court yet.?

1. Go personaly to the respective Court during working hours and meet the Court Clerk in his room. Tell him the case number / last date of hearing and ask for next date of hearing and also do inspection of your Case file by getting specific Application for Inspection of Case file allowed by the Family Court Judge.

2.
A party or his lawyer may be allowed to take inspection of the record and proceedings of a case, or of a Book or Register maintained by the Court, on a written application bearing the requisite court fee stamp and stating precisely the correct number, year and descriptttion of the case or the book or register of which inspection is sought. By inspection of file you can come to know if process service effected or not by your Advocate within its time limit as well as come to know of next date of hearing in your case.

3.
Alternately you can search of next date of hearing online by keying your case inputs at https://court.mah.nic.in/courtweb/cases/case_no.php

4.
The process of Notice in reference ot context are as follow;s

- Suit matter filing at Filing Counter
- Admission hearing of Case.
- Case No. allotment
- Order on Notice Service to Respondent / wife by Email and/or Registered Post A/D and/or Pasting within 15 days of issue of such Order
- Filing / submitting with Court Clerk Process Form along with Process fees and copy of suit matter submission for Notice issue in above mode.

By following para 1 you will come to know whether Process (Notice) issued or not as well as status of Notice (if it reached respondent wife or not) as well as next date of hearing.
Para 2 roughly talks about allowing party or Lawyer to a case Inspection of Case file. Para 3 talks about online search of case Status. Para 4 is roughly the flow of your case.
