Name Change Effects

After officially changing ones name by publishing in the official gazzette is it necessarry to correct the same in school & college certificates , or that the notification copy is enough.

will it be possible to correct in ration card , voter id , driving license etc.

if already applied for any govt job etc. what is the procedure to correct the same when the same is obtained

You can also change your name in above mentioned documents by showing the copy of official gazzet. Infact you should get your name changed.

Wherever possible you can change the name  .For applying jobs,you can produce the gazette copy.No need to effect the  change in certificates.

After publishment change of name in the Gazzete only you can apply for modification of your old name.
