we have a ancestral agricultural land which was transferred to my father name in davangere karnataka which was transfered to my father name. Paani was also updated with his name. But recently, my father expired. I want to transfer it to my mother name. We are residing in mysore. so all the address is of mysore state. kindly help me the process to change the name and what all documnets might be needed.

You can approach the concerned revenue department within whose jurisdiction the property is lying with an applicaiton for transfer of paani records to your mother's name with an affidavit expressing NOC by all other legal heirs, you can attach the copies of the death certificate, legal heirship certificate, identity proofs of all the legal heirs and a letter signed by all the legal heirs in this regard and approach the concerned officer in person and clarify if you re required to comply with any more details.

Get a relinquishment deed registered by all siblings in favour of your mother.
