Name mis-spelled in sale deed

Hey,

Recently, I've purchased a residential land in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. All the sale documents are in local language which is Telugu. My name, My Father's Name & Address in perfectly alright in the document [Telugu version]. But when it comes to some other document [where they have my photo, my finger prints, owner photo & owner finger prints], they have translated my name from Telugu to English which isn't correct.

Correct Name : Saida Reddy

Name of document : Syda Reddy

I was told it isn't a problem, because its done by the sub register office people only.

Now, i was worried will this cause any problem in the future.

++ Previous owner is dead. So his wife and children came from USA and done the registration.

What should I do now?

It is better to go for rectification deed.

Yes I agree. Rectification deed is the correct remedy in your case.

It has to be executed with mutual consent , in your case physical appearance of the parties before sub - registrar may be mandatory. Please check with respective registrar office of your concern.

Thanks,
