Ncp days incorrectly updated in epf by employer

Dear Sir,

My PF claim was rejected with the following reason: 'pf account linked with other uan with overlapping service'

When I checked my service history in the EPF portal, I saw that one of my employers had updated my NCP days as 24 days even though there was no LOP and I had completed my notice period as per the requirement. My DOE with this employer is 07/08/2019 and my DOJ with the next employer is 26/08/2019. As a result, I think that EPFO is considering the employment period for the month of August as overlapping.

I had written to the previous employer multiple times for help to get this fixed but they have not been responding at all. Kindly help me with my options here. Is there any other way to get the NCP updated? Should I take legal action? If NCP days are not updated, I'll never be able to withdraw my PF amount or pension amount in future.

You can gather the details in this regard and send a legal notice to the employer informing him about the lapses on his side and to rectify the same immediately failing which you  can wanr him of legal consequences through labor law.
