I wanted to know if my husband is trying to proove me wrong through SMS chat with my male friends,does court consider this,although the chat is not relationship chat,it was a very healthy friendly chat,but he s trying to proove my illicit relationship which is false. i have heard that Chats are not considered as evidence.Please answer this...

Chats may or may not be considered as evidence, depends how it is preserved.

One of Relative is applying for divorce. She got some Lumpsum amount of few Lakhs as maintenance. Is this amount Exempt from Tax or what is Taxtreatment?

Maintenance amount dosent come under the purview of the tax.

One time alimony is exempt from Imcome Tax, but friend you could have started a new thread for the same.
