I need an advice, Through an lawyer i have filled a case in Madras high court on March 26 2013. The case is about land dispute, we got a goverment approved plot, few years back some people tried to occupy it, showing an judgement issued by DRO. The juggent says that since the company, which sold the land to us failed to provide details of the parent documents in their enquiry, it orders the surveyor to survey the land based on opposition person document and give it to him.
Through a lawyer in chennai high court, we filled a writ pettion and the pettion got accepted, also the court provided a stay. now its more than a year no progess is made. when we asked our lawyer, he says with in two weeks he will bring back case to hearing, but it not happend.
Now he says that we need to appoint a senior consultant to make progess in this case. I am not clear with reason. Can any please advise what should i do. I am confused whether to rely on my lawyer or not.
