Need Help

I am working as a contractor to MNC through Consulting company.

When the Consulting company given the offer letter, in that the notice period is 15 days.

But now they were saying our client (MNC)  accepted your resignation but you have to work for 1 month.

Please suggest me i have to get relieved with in 15 days.

First of all it needs a careful reading of your Employment-contract to check if there were hidden conditions in this regard.

If there are none, the company cannot hold you once you have given 15 days notice as per the Employment-contract. The only thing is that the company may resort to nuisance tactics like not giving Service Certificate, holding back your dues etc., for which you should be prepared now as the company has already thrown a spanner in the ring.

But, legally they cannot change the contract unilateraly.
