I need expert's advice on below issue regarding DP act.
Accoding to DP act, giving or taking dowry is offensive. But usually, bride side people put a complaint in which they mention that, they gave some Rs.xxx as dowry before marriage and still groom side people are asking for more.
In such case, as bride side people already mentioned that they gave dowry in straight fashion, Are they not get punished for giving dowry?
Please advice on this issue. Thanks in advance.
