Go to first appeal and ask for Action Taken Report.

If a policeman does not know what copyright violation is doesnot mean that he does not have to register the FIR.

Does that mean even we can complain about the in-laws of my brother.

Shonee Ji, can you tell me more about this dp act complaint, ccs complaint? I tried searching could not find any other reference to it. How is copyright act relevent here?

Sister,

I have read your other posts too. I would advise you not to expand your energies too much in the initial phase itself. First try to concentrate your fight in CAW cell and try to get AB.

DP Act means Dowry Prohibition Act, a section of which says that even the dowry givers should be punished. Though I have never seen effective implementation of the same. In fact I advise filing any case in this regard.

CCS Rules are Civil Conduct Rules, applicable to government servants only, a section of the same also prohibits giving and taking of dowry.

PC Act is Prevention of Corruption Act.

Copyright Act is not relevant here, I gave it as an example, that if the law enforcement agency is not aware how the case would unfold under such an act, that is no reason to ignore action in such regard.

Hope that clarifies.
