Need urgent opinion

My husband has asked for divorce from after 6yrs of marriage.We have a 2yr old of baby too. The reason for his demanding divorce is him having an extra-marital affair. He sent me a notice in April to which I sent him a reply within a month.Till this time there has been no response from him regarding divorce or any maintenance to me & my child.My problem is that my lawyer had asked me to sign the reply letter mentioning "Approved" the copy of which was sent to my husband & his lawyer.On the other hand my husband did not sign on the divorce notice he sent me first. I want to know am I at any risk after signing the said document.Will it have any negative impact in my case? Seeking your reply urgently. Please advice.
