Neighbour asks to cut down acasia tree which is 20 feet from

I’ve an acacia mangium tree at my property which is 20 feet away from the boundary of my neighbour and 50 feet away from their well, now they’re suing me to cut the tree saying that flowers from it is falling into their well. All the branches are within my property and no branches are protruding to their property. I’m ready to take preventive measures other than cutting the tree and suggested that I’ll buy a net to cover their well to prevent the flowers falling into the well. Is their any way to avoid cutting the tree ? Thank You.
